This is one I made earlier........

I have had no success with my card making this week everything has ended in the bin
so it was lucky that I had this to fall back on.
Love this Teddy he has such a gorgeous face

To his eyes and nose I added just a spot of dimesional magic
and also to the holly and berries on the present.
The sparkly ribbon is some I have had for years and as it is wired
I gathered it just a little to show off the sheen.

Floral Digi

It is freezing here we haven't got to double figures today.
I did just slip to the shops this morning when the sun shone for a few minutes
and the breeze from the mountain was bitter.
There was snow on the top I could just see between the clouds.
that is why I am sitting here with the heater on
I hate to think what my electricity bill will be like.

A floral digi only my second digi ever would you believe.
I don't know why I have a thing about digi's.
This one is for Digi Haven and it comes from Beccy's Place

I thought it was so beautiful that I couldn't resist it and
Digi Haven have a floral challenge and even tell you where to get the digi's from.
The colours have not photographed very well unfortunately.
the flowers I coloured with:
V12 - 15- 17 and the leaves with
G 21 - 28  YG 63 I think.
I realise I really need some more G's
The bling was also coloured with YG63
I shadowed it with G000
and sponged around the outside with Fabrico Wisteria.

I painted the petals with Smooch Glitz {nail polish for cards}
and I embossed the white  card with a border from
Cuttlebug - With Love borders.
It is all finished with scraps of ribbon from my stash

I am entering this into:

Some of my favorite things

How can one possibly choose a favorite PB stamp they are all so cute.
This is one that I have had sitting in the background for a while looking for somewhere to go.
To tell the truth I think I followed a sketch and didn't get the card finished in time.
Sorry I caught the flash with the bling my mistake.

I love all PB cute stamps this is one that I haven't used for ages.
I love my copics, the balloon was coloured pink then dotted with the blender.
Don't know about you but I use my blender a lot.
Don't have a black copic so the eyes nose and pads were coloured with
a tombow and then given 3D effect with Dimensional Magic
and a tooth pick.  What would I do without the help of my tooth picks.
Then there is the grossgrain ribbon which I love because it is firm
and makes super bows and doesn't slip around when you are trying to fix it in place.
So there you have a few of my favorite things which is just right for
the ........

Holly Christmas

My blog has had many faces this week and it is still a work in progress
and I did find how to change my type thank goodness.

As I have followed Dawny's sketch on Papertake Weekly I must get this published today.
Well I have sort of followed the sketch but when I start I never really know just where
I am going to end up.
sometimes in the BIN!!!!!!!!!!!
I have tried to add sparkle without adding any bling with my sparkly
DP, the glittery thread and the gorgeous ribbon.
No idea where I got that from.
Tilda's fur is flocking that has some glitter in it but it doesn't show up in the photo.

You will probably see from the shadows in the top photo that I have 3D everything.

Beautiful Butterflies

I have changed my background and although I like the pale pink
it doesn't go with my ROSE.
Some of you have mentioned my rose, a photo I am very proud of.
Several years ago when I bought my first digital camera i went out into the garden
one January in the early morning and  spotted it. rushed in got the camera and took the photo.
The day turned out to be a very hot one and by evening
that rose was opened out with petals falling.
The bud beside it had just shrivelled up but I have a lasting reminder.

Today I am using a lovely new embossing folder from Darice.
It embosses so clearly and just exactly the right size.
this is the inside of the card so you can see just how perfect it is.

On the outside I have chalked around the dotted circles
and added some of my lovely butterflies.
Have set Tilda looking out of a circular window
watching the display.
Haven't used this pinky mauve for a long time I wonder why.

A touch of Blue

I don't know about a touch of blue there is quite a lot of blue there.
This has been made a few days now and I felt sure a challenge would come along that
it was right for.
Just adore this Tilda she is so cute.
I used my new MS punch again and managed to get a border with it  on the strip of card
under the lace.

Had just enough of the blue card for card itself and the matt so the leaves and the matt for the greeting are a slightly paler blue.
I bet you would never have guessed if I hadn't told you.
Distressed with Faded Jeans and coloured with my copics
Then I covered Tilda's hair and the holly with spica.
The rhinestones were coloured with copics too.

Had another play with the new tools on Picasa
and put a greenish hue around Tilda.

Sunshine and roses

I found this beatiful paper with such glorious roses on it, it was half of a 12 x12 sheet
Must have used the other half in class as there are about
6 pieces of it so expect to see it again.

Just love the way those circles really show the roses off.
Now who has been a clever girl then?
Found some new gadgets in Picasa and had a play with them in the next picture.
I distressed everything with Wild Honey for the sunshine.
Coloured with my copics and added smooch glitz to the roses.
I followed the sketch from Gem of a challenge

Tilda in her garden

I have just been working in the garden but I am no gardener.
DH loved his garden and used to keep us in veg all the year round
but alas is now unable to look after it and I must do what I can.
I don't mind admitting that our garden is nothing like as tidy as Tilda's.

The colours on this card have not reproduced very true unfortunately.
In fact nothing I have done this week has worked out most now reside in the bin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate wasting card and paper too and will salvage what I can.
The centre of the flower is a barely pink pearl and the tiny pearls are pale pink.
What a job I had getting them on too the little devils just wouldn't go where I wanted them.
I used the spica pen on tilda's hair, some stickles on the roses and dimension on her shoes.

Ready Teddy.......

I have just found Ready Teddy go a cool place for Teddy lovers to hang out.

There is this sketch to follow too that I just love and I will be using it again for sure.
I delved into my left overs and found just enough blue Bazzill to go
with this left over snowflake paper.
Well I thought it was left overs until I found I have another whole 12 by 12 sheet.
The stars were left over from a class I took last year.
I have used star dust stickles and  a MS punch
and I am really quite pleased with the end result which is saying something
as I am rarely satisfied with anything I do.

Pastels

I have been having problems commenting again hope it soon sorts itself out.
Today I am following the lovely sketch from Totally Gorjuss

Am using some beautiful soft coloured papers from a pad called Hideaway,
so my card is just right for you Northern ladies who are going into summer.

This is a new Tilda I have just bought and I do love the change of hairstyle.
Have made her quite a modern miss with sparkling sneekers.

She is coloured with copics and I added spica to her hair
and there is smooch glitz around the edges of the doo hickey flower.

Caroling Mice

Firstly a great big welcome to my new followers
Thank you for wishing to follow me and hope you enjoy viewing.

This stamp is a 1999 one.  The only thing lacking is the cat conducting,
but didn't the PB cat and dog come out after this date?.......

The background paper is the reverse side of the holly paper I used here.
Along with the snowflakes it has music notation on it.
I have stuck with one colour letting the contrast be with the mice themselves.
I did rather go to town with the Wild Honey DI.
The snow on the log is flocking not a great success even though
I added glitter too, must get some flower soft.
The glitz on the backs of their music books are tiny pieces of
hologram stickers/peeloffs.
The gold star rhinestones go back to when they were first sold over here
and they have been in the drawer ever since.
I know I am a hoarder.

And the FaLaLaLaLa is just made for this card.

Sometimes I just sits..................

I think that is how the saying goes.
"Sometimes I sits and thinks and sometimes I just sits"

Well Tilda is just sitting enjoying the sunshine where?, I don't know, as it is certainly not here
we are in the deep freeze at the moment and I am not enjoying it one little bit.
Today I have followed the sketch  from Magnolia down under
using the pastel colours from Midweek Magnolia.

Those check papers have been in my stash for maybe up to 20 years
had completely forgotten about them.
Using 4 Magnolia stamps I made up this little scene all coloured
with copics.
Instead of flowers today I have used butterflies from Petaloo.
The sky was sponged with my blue Fabrico.

I am entering this in:

Just Magnolia - Anything goes
Midweek Magnolia - colour inspiration.
