Summer!!!

Hello,
I must find out where the time is among the settings as when I post I seem to be in the wrong time zone. It was actually early morning on November 29th when I started but I have been away for a while so now it is late afternoon, regardless of what will appear when I publish.

Today I am following the sketch by Donalda on Just Magnolia.

So I chose a summery Tilda so that I could also enter it in Magnolia down under

She was coloured with copics and I used:
Hair E57 E35 E33 E31
Skin E00 E11 R11
Dress Y11 Y00
Socks Y00
Shadow W1 W3
Sorry can't remember the rest.

My computer is not liking copying from Picasa
or maybe I have run out of internet allowance.

Wish upon a star

Hello again on this wet Thursday morning

Another of my brand new Tilda's and I call this one the Wishing Tilda
She is coloured with copics.
Hair E50 E53
Skin E00 R20
Dress G000 G00
Once again I cut her out and raised her.

The greeting is a Lucy Stamp, one I have had for years but I keep getting it out as I just love the words
I distressed around the edge while it was still in the die with Antique Linen
then embossed it and stickled around the inner edge.
When this was dry I coloured the outer edge with R00.
I also raised this.
This is my Christmas wish that I extend to everyone who visits my blog.

A Christmas ribbon and a wavy border over the lovely
starry DP paper by Kaiser called Wish upon how apt.

Lots of sparkle

Hello again,
You could never guess the number of times I stuffed up this card it nearly ended in the bin.
I promise I followed the sketch on PB Saturday challenge but with the
rectangle it looks a little different.
Actaully these little furry creatures have been sitting on my desk all coloured in with nowhere
to go until this challenge came along.
I know the words are not P.B but they seemed so apt I just had to use them.

The snow on the log was  made with Liquid applique,
raised with my heat gun and them super fine glitter over the top.
It doesn't really show up as well as I had hoped.
Lessons in photography needed!!!!!!!
The snowflakes and the star were cut out of some glittery card.

Happy Days

My new Tilda's arrived in the mail and I just couldn't wait to stamp them up.
This Happy Tilda just makes me smile every time I look at her.
I coloured her with my copics and cut her out in fear and trembling that I would cut off some of her curls.

Also went mad with the glimmer mist and then on the card I also added spray on smooch.
the piece of pink card has ended up like Bazzill bling.
I didn't want to cover up the background paper as it was very pretty ust on it's own.
really must find out how to edit my pictures.

With the pink and yellow I am entering this in:

Lazy Summer Days

Lazy summer days are one of my favorite things as long as it is not too hot.  That is why we live in Tasmania seldom humid and we don't have too many really hot days plus not too many people.
I found this paper yesterday when I was having a clear out.  Goodnes knows just how long it has been lurking in my cupboard so I decided to let it see the light of day.

It is just right for Rover laying in amongst the daisies.
Being a pastel person I found it very hard working with the harder background colour but it seems to have worked ok.
The grass and sky have been sponged but do not show up too well.

The flourish is a Tim Holtz one and I cut it out with sparkly card.

Another Christmas Card !

Yes another Chrissy card but when I saw this lovely paper in our local shop I just could not resist it.

The paper is printed in Australia and designed by Alison Ellis and there was enough
on this sheet for
8 cards of this design.
Nice to find something made in Aussie!
A little hard to see I know but I embossed the card with a snowflake embossing folder first.
The baubles are mounted on silver foil card.

Thanks for dropping in you are very welcome.

All White

Being a pastel person the thought of an all white card sounded good,
so here is my take for
Simon says stamp challenge  Are you all white.

It really hasn't come up very well in the photo and looks a lot better in real life
The Tilda is one that the lovely Norma stamped up and sent me.  For which I thank her so much.
My collection of Tilda's is growing and there are 4 more on their way, can't wait.

She was of course coloured with copics as follows
Skin E00 R00
Hair E50 E53
Blouse YR00
Pants V000
Socks RV000
The punch around the outside is an EK one.

I am going visiting up to the east coast of Tassie for a couple of days of crafting hope the weather holds.
Today is really a taste of spring.

Thanks for dropping in you are very welcome.

Black and White

Sunday afternoon and the sun has gone and the showers have arrived but what can you expect from spring!
This did not start out to be black and white in fact I had pink card to start with.
In fact the other side of the Bo Bunny DP is pink
but I loved this side too.

The punch I used was an EK one sorry can't remember what it is called
Nora from the Greeting Farm was coloured with copics and what do you know I have kept the numbers

Skin E00- E11- R20
Hair and boots   C3-C5-C7
Scarf Y02- Y11
Coat YG03- YG23
She has been cut out and raised up to stand out.
The flower I think is prisma and the leaves I punched out.

The dots and dashes I did with a black tombow.
Alas my tombows are getting so neglected now in favour of the copics.

Thanks for dropping in

Who said I was over Christmas

This card has been sitting on my desk waiting to be finished off for sometime.
Then I saw the Penny Black Saturday challenge Zigzags or Triangles but this card had neither and I don't have any border punches or any other punches with anything like a zigzag or triangle. It was then that I thought of my pile of fancy sissors that haven't been used for yonks and hey presto.
Betsy Bluebell was coloured in with copics then sponged aound with Antique Linen distress ink.  Not the best I know but the light was not good.......well that's my excuse anyway.
To make the zigzags show up even more I then sponged the extreme outside with Galaxy gold Brilliance ink.
The words are from Rubberdubberdo.  I bought these on one of my trips to Melbourne or Sydney to a paper craft show they fit onto a small acrylic block with a magnet on one side.
Have never seen them since I wonder if anyone else has any of them.
I am hopefully entering this in the:
Penny Black Saturday challenge Zigzags or Triangles    fingers crossed!!!!

Thanks for dropping in  you are very welcome.
