Choose a square.

This is hard work with my internet going so slow.  Feel like I am really having to earn
my little space.
I wanted to put this on with my Magnolia- licious post but Picasa hid the photo.
This is so plain and simple yet I like it.

If I fall short of a few cards at Chrissy I will be making more of these.
This is a lovely corner stamp and I have added Dimensional magic to everything.
The berries also got a spot of star dust stickles.

Susan you will be pleased to note I used my Ott light when taking the photo.

This is for the Less is More - choose a square.

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

However I hope that I can get this posted.
Teemed Tilda with this stamp that I have had for years.
Of course she was coloured with my copics.

Too Pastel I wonder

I have followed the sketch on Just Magnolia and made this in pastels so
that I can enter the Papertake Weekly challenge too.

Still have trouble looking at my work from a distance so make the mistake of
not putting in enough contrast.
ie my flowers should have been cream and then they would have stood out more.

I really love this Tilda though she is not one of mine but was stamped out and sent to me
by another lovely blogger.

She was coloured with my copics but quite a while back and sorry the numbers I used
have been lost in the upheaval of moving my craft from one room to another.
Hey Ho still not enough room!!!!!!!!!

Butterflies

I am not a butterfly person myself, I just use the odd one here and there so this was not easy.
Found myself wondering just what I was going to do.
Then I remembered this Colour me paper that I had been given so decided to give it a go.
Not very well I might add.
Also attempted to use my Distress Inks that I am a complete novice at.
Would you believe the centre is Spun Sugar outside Tattered rose and the extreme edge Antique Linen.
I am such a pastel person though have not put enough colour on.
However the photo has taken a lot of the colour out it has more in real life.

There are also pale butterflies underneath the burgandy ones.
My photography leaves a lot to be desired doesn't it?

Black White and.......

It was very hard to find a colour to go with Tilda this was the nearest I could get.
Against Green the dress looked Blue and against Blue the dress looked Green.
Unfortunately the photo does not show the true colour of the card it is sort of Aqua
coloured with my copics.

Dry Embossing

This was fun.
I dug out my Dreamweaver stencils, my light box,
my stencil brushes and my Fabrico ink pads and had a ball.
I just went around the outside of the card with my Y00 copic though it doesn't show up very well.
Neither does the fact that I embossed around the outside of the stencil which has depress around the Iris.
Sorry, found it very hard to get a good picture.

Here is a close up of the flowers.
Drat I gave one of the stems a bit too much colour put this down to the fact that it is a while since I did any stencilling.
You need lots of small scraps of paper to slide under the stencil to keep the colours apart.
This was a brass stencil,  I don't think they make them brass anymore, but very easy to clean just a wipe over with a damp cloth when you use Fabrico.
This is my entry for Less is More- Embossing.
Thank goodness the sun has come out again this week as last week we were
really in the throes of winter with snow on the mountain.

I'm Back

Began to despair that I would ever get back into my blog as for some reason
I couldn't sign in and although I have visited some of you I couldn't comment either.
Don't ask me how I got back in as I don't know and I will be staying signed in from now on.
My craft room is up and running and my new unit complete and filled to capacity.
But of course 1 was not enough and I plan to get another.
I still have cupboards to empty of paper and more paper etc.

This is for Less is more- white on white

Despite the fact that my flowers look a little creamy they and the leaves are all made
from the same white shimmer paper.

I am also including in this post my entry for
Just Magnolia- Anything goes.

The papers are all Kaiser, the flowers Prima edged with diamond stickles and the punch is an EK Success.
Tilda was coloured with copics but have lost the list of colours.
The edges around Tilda have been sponged with Tattered Rose.
I am never quite sure how upright this Tilda should be.

Thank you for dropping in you are most welcome.

Thank you also for your lovely comments.
