Rudolf in Pink

I really thought that I was going to be stuck this week when I saw that
52 {C}CT wanted a reindeer as a focal point on this weeks card.
I knew I didn't have one.
Well now I know it must be true I have too much craft stuff
because look what I found hiding in one of my stamp drawers.
So cute at that and never been inked.
Of course you all know that I can do cute
and here it is.

The stamp is from Docrafts coloured with copics, the paper is Papermania.
The lace I thought had a snowflake effect.
The snowflakes are cut out of glitter card, even the ribbon is has glittered
edges.

Inside is TED in his Father Christmas outfit.

Very simple wedding card

My daughter asked me for a wedding card with
No Flowers, Ribbon and certainly nothing Cute.
She asked for Cream, Red and Black with no bumpy bits.
Now I normally like black to outline features but it was just not right for this card.
I did not expect to like the end result  but to my amazement I do.
It does look quite elegant in RL
Now what do you think?

The entwined hearts are a stamp that I have but first I inked it up with gold
and that did nothing for me.
So then I tried embossing it in gold but my powder is so old it just
made a horrid mess.
Then I stamped it on a piece of scrap paper and used that
to cut each heart out in red card.
None of my congratulation stamps would fit on the card
so I had to resort to a sticker.
Have just noticed that the lovely spellbinder border die has a heart right in the centre.
How good is that?

Happy Santa

Today I am following the sketch from Completely Christmas.
I found it rather complex and it certainly was a challenge.

I haven't made a very good job of this but I am not going to pull it to pieces.
So now you know how not to follow a sketch.

As I have told you before my cards just take over and I go along for the ride.
The DP is by Papermania and is very pretty.
I was very sad to be covering up the Robins but you will see them again.
The Santa who looks so happy is from a DP by Anna Griffin
and I bought it just to cut them out.

Happy birthday in Mauve.

I found this gorgeous pale mauve ribbon in the Reject Shop
and at the news agents found the latest
UK craft mag with the free Nit Wit paper and stamp.
So I have combined the 2 to make a very happy birthday card.

Happy Christmas

Winter is with us in fact I don't think the temp has made double figures today.
The sun has been shining and it really has been a nice day.
Just cold!!!!!.

I had every good intention of making this card in traditional red and green.
However the card itself had other ideas
and ended up taking over.
I was using this sketch from 52CCT.

Completely forgot the bow didn't I?

And I don't like those rhinestones though they are all the same colour.
The middle 2 are reflecting the light from the flash.
Love the sentiment die it cuts out beautifully.

Blue Christmas

My computer is on a go slow must be out of internet time AGAIN.
I have been waiting for the NBN connection before increasing my allowance
and as the cable has been outside our front door for over 18 months
I am getting sick of waiting.
This week we could pick a sketch at 52CCCT.
I have missed a few and chose the one for May.

This is my take on it.

This is one of my favorite LOTV stamps.
