Dumbo having a swinging time.

Sunset over Hobart.

It faded so fast that by the time I had rushed to get my camera
the best of it had gone.
There is snow on the mountain as it has been rather cold this last week.
Winter officially starts tomorrow.  Brrrrrrr.......

I have been going through some already stamped images and picked out
this lovely one of Dumbo.
I have used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangles
and Cheery Lyn Design Happy  Christmas.

I have also used up the last of my gold mirror card.
Good excuse to order some more things from my friends shop.

Christmas Greetings

52 Christmas card Throwdown have a colour challenge
and I thought that I would like to make a card with these colours.

They certainly are different.

but I am quite happy with the result.

It has been a beautiful day here and
I spent a lovely hour having a coffee with my girls
but now it is rapidly turning to dusk.

My Broad Beans are planted and with the showers and mild temps that we
have been having I hope to soon see them popping through.
This is assuming I planted them the right way up!
Ang:   Leave your beans till next year as I hope to  be coming over
around this time.  I want to walk through the Bluebell woods one more time.

Megan: Have been over to look around your blog am tempted to
join google plus so I could leave you some love too.

Bed of Roses

The sun is shining and a promise of 18 degrees today
a change from the 14-15 we have been having.
We also had some rain last night much appreciated as it has been so dry.
I need to get out in the garden and plant my Broad Beans.
It is Sunday morning and I am being very lazy I need to get a shuffle on.
First though here is a card that I made yesterday.

A SW Bed of Roses embossing folder
Also brought out one of my punches that seem to be getting neglected
to make the border strip.
With snippets of white and green to make the flowers.

Must dash now to get all I want to do done.

Corner flowers

This is the corner flower from a Wild Rose Studio stamp set
called Milton which you can see HERE.

As soon as it arrived I had to test it out and I thought I had found a
square piece of card to do so but as you see it was only almost square.
I coloured with copics and then added clear spica to the petals.
The Best Wishes is from a Hot of the Press stamp set.
The scallop edge is a die by Sue Wilson,
and the flourish is a Spellbinders.
You see I spread the love around.

I wont tell you the lace came from the $2.00 shop or you might all want some.

The Carol Singers

I have brought out a stamp that has not seen the light of
day for a number of years.  It is 1998 vintage.
I was never sure if it was meant for Christmas or any time of the year.
As you can see they are not looking to collect money,
but have other ideas.

Well it's good for a laugh anyway and I know exactly who is going to receive this one.

My spam mail contained an offer of work today.
$8,400 a month now I wonder just what they expect for that!.
It's ok I filed it in the appropriate bin.

Double Z fold card

Today I have made a double Z  fold card as per the tutorial
at Beccy's place  HERE. Thanks Beccy.
Must really get stuck into making more Christmas cards
as I am lagging badly with them.

Have set this snowman on a silver background.
He is such a happy little fellow.

A side glance to see the greeting.

Am entering this in;
