I am in a rush

I am in a rush to get this posted before the deadline.
Hazel wants something cute for her cards this week and i can do cute.
I have been trying to get this ready all week but something has always cropped up hence the last minute rush.

The photos are not too good I'm afraid as I didn't shine the light onto the card.
The close up has made the snowflakes look a little metallic.
The fur on his hat is just Crystal glitter and the snow is flower soft over glitter.
He is coloured with my copics.

A floating centre panel

This is just impossible to photograph to show it off.
I have backed the centre panel with acetate and mounted the inside
frame on the top.  The floral image is then mounted behind the frame inside of the acetate
and the whole panel has been mounted on 2mm foam dots so that it looks as if
the centre panel is floating. Well it does in real life.
The bow is one that my daughter gave me left over from her ballroom dancing days.

All on a Summers day.........

Ah well only another week till it is officially SPRING.

I didn't have much time for crafting last week.
Although I don't seem to get much done the days seem to whiz by so fast.
So I have chosen a very CAS card following this sketch to show you.

Here is my interpretation.

This cute little Hedgie is enjoying the sunshine in the garden
having picked a bunch of flowers.

Feeling blue.....

...........no I am not but Blue is the name of the game today.
Christmas stamping AYL have a colour challenge on and when I saw
shades of Blue and White I was hooked.
Just love Blue and White for Christmas.

Winter wonderland want Cute and yes I can do cute too.
Have no idea where the DP comes from as it is some I was given.
Have used masses of glitter, frosted lace around the card,
star dust for the wings and stars and crystal on the clouds.
The stamp and greeting come from LOTV and they are among my favorites.

Red and Gold ?

I just thought you might like to see our lovely mountain.

It's hiding under the affection cloud and was like that all day on Thursday
but the sun was shining and it looked just beautiful.
Now it is cold again and the mountain has a mantle of snow again.

I have come up with quite a simple card today.

I embossed the gold foil card very carefully as it is likely to split and
the white card shows through, then cut out the center panel
to put the heat embossed greeting behind.
It really didn't need anything more as the surround is very busy.
Not that happy with it but it does look better than the picture.

Blue polka dots

Just a quick post today that is a little dotty.
Dotty for spots in fact.

This is on a dark blue pearlised card you can just see it around the edge.
Something else I have had tucked away for a while.
Don't know what the paper is but it is certainly spotty.
I cut the mount and the flourish out of the plain blue paper
and added  lick of colour to the flowers with a copic pen.
The centres are liquid pearls and to get rid of the point when you sqeeze
the pearl out just tap the paper gently underneath so it gives the blob a rounded  look.

Follow this sketch

Yes you would think I would have no trouble following
this sketch from 52 CCCT wouldn't you?

So easy but what did I come up with well this.

Not really what was asked for.
By the way that is just crystal glitter on the flower so don't know why it looks blue in places
So it was back to the drawing board.

At last I got it right.  The white card is embossed with holly and then cut up.
The holly comes from a Lucy stamp Holly square that I cut out after colouring and adding Dimensioal magic
The red card is one that I have had for 10 years or more
hidden at the back of a drawer.
The things we crafters hoard.
