Card No 2

Here is my second card for Less is More  this week.  I think that must be a first for me.
You will notice that I haven't used white cards either this week.
This stamp that I really love is a Kaiser and find it is just so useful.
Think I might send this card to my niece who is going through a
hard time just at the moment as it looks so cheerful.
Second entry for  Less is More- Buttons or Ribbon.

thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

I did it again......

Would you believe I took photos again without the chip in the camera.
The camera is so clever but doesn't tell me NO CHIP.
It does tell me NO BATTERY so why NO CHIP?

We woke to a heavy frost again this morning.
Some winters we get a couple of frosts for the whole winter.
This year I don't think we have been frost free all of July.
My bones don't like it at all

I really don't know what happened to last week I got nothing done
that I can see but still didn't find time to get any cards made.
So here is my first card for Less is more
and guess what I have another but Picasa had a hissy fit again
and would not put them on the same page.

Am not a person who likes Buttons on cards but ribbons I love .

Thanks for all your comments but I can only leave comments on those who have a
locked comment area and as yet no one can come up with any solution as to why.
I would love to stop and say Hi to more of you.

Tilda wants a hug

Today I am following the sketch on the Just Magnolia challenge blog.
It started out with me thinking it was going to be shabby chic,
but as so often happens the card took over and I have ended up with something quite different.
I have distressed around Tilda and the sentiment with Antique Linen but I think I really need to take a class on distressing as I either put it on too thick or not thick enough.
Having used sponges and daubers for so long I find the applicator not easy to get used to.
Tilda was coloured with my copics and the baubles in her hair
are to cover up the holly as she is a Christmas Tilda.
This is Tilda wants a hug so the greeting seemed so apt.
I am entering this in:
Just Magnolia-  Sketch
Totally Tilda-Distressing
Totally Gorjuss- Summertime  {Far from it here}
Magnolia stamp lovers- Summer flowers

Another Quick card

I do hope you are all warmer than we are it is 10 degrees and snow right down the mountain.
We haven't had a winter this cold for some years now.
As long as it means we will get a nice summer but not too hot thanks.
Anything with legs you say and a lovely excuse for me to make another
super quick Chrissy card.
I coloured this with my Tombows and now I know why I like my copics so much.

This is for

Flowers

I have just been trying another use for some of those strips of paper we all have.
Making flowers with border punches.
I am very pleased with the results though think I need to do a little more shaping.
The white ones I have sponged with
top- spun sugar
bottom- worn lipstick.
Took the photo with the punches beside them for my own benefit really.

Have a nice day.

Shades of Blue

I would like to thank you all for your concern re mydaughter and tell you she is
back home and although I haven't yet seen her she was on top form
when I talking to her on the phone.

I know I am getting a little late this week but the first card I made was certainly not a CAS card.
I don't get a lot of time for card making in these shorter days
as the lighting in my room is not good so no crafting after lighting up time.
CARD 1

However I think card no 2 perhaps will fill the bill.

This is complete with faux stitching and rhine stones coloured with
Copic B29.

Lots of lovely cards again this week ladies, sorry I still can't talk to you.

Thanks for dropping by you are most welcome.
