Must say I was a little dubious about the colours at first
but now I rather like how it has turned out.
All those holly leaves have been treated to Dimensional Magic
Drop by tiny drop on the end of a tooth pick.
Then liquid pearls around.
The ribbon was from my stash and the larger holly leaves are a
Cheery Lyn die that cuts out beautifully.
Thank you for coming by and please don't go without leaving a comment.

ReplyDeleteGreat card Margaret! Love your Magnolia. The colors work great with her!
ReplyDeleteI love how the colors came together on this darling card Margaret - but then again I'm totally biased as PINK on Christmas cards is one of my favorites. Everything about this card makes me smile. Awesome! Hugs D

Pretty card! This is a fun blog hop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colouring on that lovely stamped image, love the card
ReplyDeleteI tend to stick to traditional colors myself, but I actually think that your card has plenty of Christmas feel in spite of lots of pink. Brilliant choice of DP and die cut elements, and this Tilda image is really sweet! Nicely done!!!
ReplyDeleteA very sweet card - I think the colours work well. Margaret
ReplyDeleteYour image is super cute!! Wonderful use of the colors and design! Your coloring is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Margaret, you've done a fab job with the colours, the background paper is perfect for the image and the image is coloured wonderfully! I love that each holly leaf has some Dimensional Magic - drop by drop on a tooth pick - my goodness, you must have a lot of patience! Little details like that make a huge difference so your efforts were well worth it! I love the liquid pearl accents too and the way you added the ribbon to the circle! Beautiful card!

ReplyDeleteI'm usually not a fan of the Tilda images (the lack of nose and mouth weirds me out) but what you've done here is very cute. I really like the way you wove the ribbon through the die cut circle.
