Rain

Rain something we have seen very little of for weeks.
Yes it did rain for a short while late this afternoon but the
concrete is dry now.
However if we are lucky we will get some of the wet stuff again tomorrow.
So say the weather man but we have heard that before.

On to better things my card for today.

I am now making birthday cards for the residents at the care facility
and here is one.
I was asked for some plain cards but find it really hard, keep
wanting to add more all the time.

Oh dear what can the matter be

My computer has been asking me for ages to update to
Windows 10.
So finally I did just that.
All my pictures are on Picasa and yes they are all still there
but now when I put in the memory card from my camera
windows 10 will not share them with Picasa.
They have filed them away and I am at a loss to find them.
Where are the grandchildren when I want them.
Hopefully  I will get this sorted soon.
Until then
Keep cool, warm or dry according to your climate.

It's cold outside.

No not at 29 degrees but you know what I mean.
They are talking about the drought being over with all the rain that has
fallen in NSW but it is certainly not over here in Tassie,
or in the West with the bushfires there.
Boy am I sick of dragging hoses around and
no matter how much water you put on the garden
everything is just soo dry even the weeds are dying.

I have been hard at it the last 10 days cleaning out my craft room.
Discovering things I had forgotten and rearranging things.
Have not finished yet as I hope to have my 2 youngest grandsons
here to manhandle furniture for me.
Then I will have to clean out the spare room where
everything has now been dumped.
I will post some pics once it is all operational.

Have found the time to make a couple of Christmas cards and
here is one.

I chose Lace Snowflakes and Sentiment

Thanks for dropping in.

A Happy New Year

Yes a very Happy New Year to everyone.
Hope you have all recovered from the New Year celebrations.
As for me I was tucked up in bed and even the fireworks did not disturb me.
Thankfully it has cooled down here in Tassie
and I have come alive again.
Once it gets past 25 degrees I am useless,
unless I am inside with the doors shut and the coolers on.
Onto my first card of the year.

Must say I am in love with my new Sue Wilson  die
and the Creative Expressions Embossing folder.
Teamed with pale Teal shimmer paper and silver trimmings.

I would like to enter this in:

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
