Daisy Cat

Been a very busy week this week as we had a bit of rain damage a couple of weeks back and the rain came through the ceiling very little damage but enough to have plastering and painting done which has happened this week.
Must congratulate the workmen they have been excellent arriving when they said they would and cleaning up after themselves.

This card took me a long time, with all the distractions and not being able to decide what to do. This cat has never been on a card before don't ask me why as he/she is such a cutie.

The sentiment is one that I am going to use over and over again.

Talk about be frustrated I cannot get Picasa to print this straight into the blog and neither can I get it to turn the darn thing round the right way.   HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for Less is more - Sketch

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

Crazy Photographer

I would have posted this last night but someone had left the camera chip in the computer. LOL
The camera did take the photos but of course with no chip to put them on........

I am leaving my run a little late but I am getting there Hazel.

This is for CHNC- Seasonal Silver.

Now I am a gold person myself so I found this a little harder
but am very happy with the way the silver has photographed I expected it to flash back.

Maybe because it is very dull today was a good thing.

Didn't realize this was a Christmas Tilda until I got her stamped up and found the holly in her hair.

I made her a honey blonde and really like it that is just
some Y20 in with E50 and E53.
Have added some Crystal stickles to her dress and round her feet

The Merry Christmas is one border embossing folder and as it was to long to use I cut it up.

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

Thank you for all your kind comments.

Men.........

Less is More have asked for a masculine card today.

Took me all of 5 minutes and that was choosing the font to use on the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!

The words are computer generated.

The stamp is an Art Impressions which I have had for years.
Bought it in the days when Lighthouses and seagulls on posts were all the rage.
Now that is giving away my age isn't it?
It hasn't seen the light of day for a long time

It's Autumn in the air

It was very autumnal this morning and I was glad of my dressing gown and the evenings are drawing in too. Soon be time to put the clocks back.  Not looking forward to the winter one little bit
especially as we have had no summer to speak of.
Just Magnolia wanted a card in your favourite colours but I have so many favourites.
I chose these peachy colours that have come out rather darker on the photo.
Simon says wanted a birthday card to wish Lorraine a Happy Birthday.
I hope you have/had a very happy one Lorraine.
Once I have decorated the inside of this card it is going to wing its way to Essex to wish my sister a Happy Birthday.
It is all Birthdays at the moment I had mine early in the month and my eldest daughters was last week.
In fact we had 9 birthdays in 10 days this month!!!!

Seeing stars

My first Christmas card of the year made with left over scraps from last year and then I found
Die cut dreams challenge was Starlight Starbright
I just couldn't resist using one of the Tildas of Lisa's that I had stamped up.

I have had a change from square cards too  this weekend and
the stars were made from a very small scrap of gold card
which I put through my Big Shot and cuttlbug stars folder

By careful placement it just made those 2 stars which I then cut out
so this makes the card right for Magnolia down under who want 2 of.

Now I will have a wander and see if I can find any other challenges that it will fit.

Magnolia stamp lovers- Die cuts
Die cut Dreams- Starlight Starbright
Magnolia down under- 2 of {2 cut out stars}
CHNC challenge-use Gold

Maybe too Green

This is certainly green and yes I think spring like but maybe too green.
Green is not usually a colour that I really go for but it is good sometimes to get out of your comfort zone.

This is a stepped card should have taken a side view.
It has a 2cm step in the front.

Am entering this in:
Penny Black at allsorts-Welcome spring
Penny Black Saturday Challenge- Green

2 posts in 2 days

Yes things are looking up.  No it is just that we have a long weekend here and I am dedicating it to
trying to get ahead of myself preparing cards for classes.
I even have some of the instructions typed out ready wonders will never cease.

I saw this Less is more challenge and as I need a birthday card for my daughter for next Tuesday
thought I would give it a go.
I have made an insert with some lovely pastel paper with roses on it.
You see my daughter sees my cards as I make them so I had to make something new for her.
You would have thought I could have got the sentiment straight though.

This really is a challenge as one layer and you have all that empty space.

Have coloured with copics but couldn't use spray on smooch or glimmer mist
and didn't want anything as heavy as glues and glitter or stickles so it is just plain and unadorned.

Less is more  One layer off the page

Thank you for dropping in and for your most welcome comments

How time flies

Where did that last month go I don't remember most of it.

Was away for a week up in the north of the state and found this adorable stamp by Kaiser at my friends shop
that I just could not resist so this afternoon I have been busy
and am quite happy with the 2 cards that I have made which is something as I  usually
fnd fault with everything I do.

Am sorry that the with love embossed on the red one does not show up.
Am not going to tell you it is hiding a Woops.

Took my Tilda's with me when I went away and my friend Lisa and I
exchanged them for the night and stamped away so I have some new ones that are
waiting for me to get colouring.

Joy oh Joy Tilda's are now in Hobart you can find them at Craft Creations sorry no website.

Thank you all for dropping in and for you kind comments
