Take one Gloss card blank x2

So for the second side of the gloss card I sponged with the
colours from my Kaleidacolor Baby Powder pad.

This is such a soft coloured background and I managed to find enough
of the blue card to cut out to trim it with and a 3d topper
to go with it.
The border is Dinamics Crochet Border.
The tag is SB detailed scallops.
The smallest Memory box Leavenworth Butterfly.
and the frame made with SB labels 23.
I have also unearthed masses of sequins left over from my
youngest daughters ballroom dancing days.
So expect to see more of them.

One Gloss card blank

Yes I took one gloss card blank and on one side I sponged
DI Mowed Lawn and Barn Door then
stamped circles with Brilliance Midnight White
and polished with a tissue.
I selected a Red card blank a coloured image and DP.
however I then hopped over to the
ABC Christmas challenge and became inspired by the DT cards.
So here is what I ended up with.

I tell you my cards always end up making themselves.
After choosing the greeting I had to go through a heap of dies to find one
that would cut it out completely and I was happy this one worked
as it has little stars that I coloured in with my gold sharpie.
It did smudge a little so perhaps next time I will try my gel pen.
The poinsettia was left over from last year.
I was happy to find a couple of snippets of the same green
to cut out the ivy well bits of it anyway.

Many thanks for dropping in.

Coloured with Tombows

I was at the Aged care home this morning for the Anzac Day service.
It was all organized by the lifestyle staff and what a good job they did.
After there was tea coffee etc and Anzac biscuits for all,
as usual I stepped in and helped with the making of the drinks.
On Wednesday I have been asked to help out at the little fair they have organized.
Which I am only too happy to do of course.
DH is only too happy to sit in his wheelchair and watch me.
So today I have.
Another of the birthday cards that is going to the
aged care home for one of the May birthdays.
Now I have masses of Tombows that have sat around for
longer than I care to remember and on UTube I came across
a video of colouring using Tombows and your blender pen.
Silly me I did not make a note of the title and of course I can't find it again.
So if anyone else has seen it please let me know so that I can give credit where it is due.
I had already stamped and heat set this little bouquet on copic card
so wasn't sure how it would go with the Tombows
so was pleasantly surprised as copic card does not like moisture.

The embossing folder is a Sue Wilson one and I have put tiny pearls in the
centre of all the little flowers.
Delved into my box of bits and came up with a strip of
the exact pink I was using and the strip of green
that was the exact length and width I needed.
The tag is a LOTV one that I have hand written on.

I am sharing this with,

Wishing you all a good week.

Pink and Silver

Today I have cased a card by the Lovely Linda and
you can see it HERE
Now I have embossed pattern paper before but
never thought to enhance it by adding a
white gel pen as Linda has.
Many thanks for the tip Linda it certainly has added something to
this pink paper.

Sorry another dreadful photo will have to have words with the photographer!
Obviously the light was all wrong but no time to take another.
I embossed with SW Braided Vines
then added the white gel which was quite fun to do,
but it does look so much better in real life.

Will pop this in

Thanks for dropping by and your comments are most welcome.

Where is the rain

I think that must be what this little hedgie is saying,
judging by the blue sky around him.

Sorry about the rotten photo.   It is all the camera's fault you understand.
The flowers are not that yukky colour at all
but a lovely yellowy green.
The embossed background you can barely make out, but that folder
has never been used before and it must be over 12 months old.
Shame on me.
There is a little snippet of ribbon and
and another for the leaves.
The dear little hedgie got coloured with copics.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Green Christmas

Just a quick post today.
Hazel at Crafty Hazelnut,
is asking us to use green on our Christmas cards this week.
I still have several green card blanks to use up so what
better excuse,

This is the cutest snowman and I have given him some snow banks
topped with Iced Snow to stand on,
and glittery snow flakes to play with.
Just have to finish the inside before I pop him in my Christmas box.

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

White and gold

It is a full year now since my Husband went into care.
The time has gone so fast.  At least now he is completely settled
and I might add very spoilt by the staff such lovely caring people.

It is a long time since I have participated in a challenge at
but today I have just the card to do so.

I missed posting it last year and it fits in so well for this challenge.

12 Months of Christmas - Gifts optional or Anything goes

Really must dash now so hope you all have a good day.

Flower shower

My Penny Black stamps have been neglected for far too long,
was April showers I wanted to join in.
No I know it is not exactly an April shower,
but April does bring showers of flowers to brighten your Spring.
So I have gone with Hedgie Joy.
He looks so happy with all the flowers raining down on him.
I gave him some nice soft grass to land on
with the stamp Partying.
I have also stepped out of my comfort ground and used purple.
Not a colour that I am really used to using,
but it went so well with the mauve and the green.

You can just make out the flower border embossed down the side
and those gems are all the same colour.
I have also added 3 tiny glass butterflies, I found a packet of them in my bead drawer.

Wishing you all a lovely day.

Another snippet card.

A big welcome to my newest follower Di from
Drop over and say Hi.

Actually this was rather a large snippet.
One left over piece of brown card and by the way it is not
as brown as it looks in the photo.
It is more of a latte colour.
It was just enough to cut out the panel and the greeting.
The gold studs are some that I am trying to use up
as they have been laying around for a l...o...n...g.. time
so expect to see more of these.

That stamp is a very useful one for men's cards and the stud in the centre
always looks good.

Am entering this in

Here is another men's card using the same stamp.

I added studs to the centre of these too but didn't take a photo.
The stamp pad I used was Kaleidacolor called Autumn leaves.
Reputed to be
"The World's First Non-Bleeding Raised Rainbow Dye Inkpad"

They are years old so I would love to know how many others have got
one of these pads in their stash.

You push the pads together to use them but the lids will not go on
unless you part the colours to store them and they still
have plenty of ink left in them too.

Thanks for dropping in and love your comments
