Oh drat.........

.......drat and double drat I put too many red rhinestones on this.
I just sort of got carried away.
The challenge at CHNC was to recycle.
Well the card I began to unpick fell to pieces in my hand and I was left with
the card blank and as luck would have it I found an envelope in my drawer
exactly the right size for it.
The Trees both came from another card as did the greeting
which I have put on the outside of the card.
The embossed panels are from my scraps pile the ribbon from my stash
so the only new thing is the patterned paper that came from
Papermania

Here is the inside  and voila another Chrissy card  in my box.

So far I have not fallen down on my new year resolution
to complete all the cards inside as I go but don't hold your breath it wont last.

Am entering this in:
CHNC - Recycle or something free.
CHNC 2 - Anything goes Christmas
52CCT - Pattern paper and glitter and complete the inside
{the tree is really glittery}.
Bearly mine - Anything goes.
Make it Monday - Anything goes linky party.

A big welcome to my newest followers nice to see you.
Thanks too for all the lovely comments you have all been leaving for me
they make my day.

  1. Hello Margaret - don't fret the rhinestones! There are lots of people who love bling and this is such a lovely bright card with the contrasting white and red that I think that you get away with it! Came over today from MIM.

  2. I think the rhinestones are just right - gorgeous card and I like the way you've decorated the inside as well - way to go with the recycling - thanks for entering it into both of my CHNC challenges - hope to see you again soon.

  3. I love the crisp red and white colour scheme & those swirly embossed panels Margaret & well done on all that recycling and using up scraps, very commendable! Lovely decorated inside too!

A new year's resolution to decorate insides as you go? Also, very commendable, that's what I like to hear! Please keep it up! If you're like me and keep at it, there'll come a time when you won't be able to NOT do the insides as well 'cos the card won't feel finished if you don't!

Thanks so much for joining us at 52 {C}CT & I hope you play along with us again soon! Ruth x

  11. I saw it on MIM. I say this is a spectacular way to recycle. My girlfriend wouldn't part with any of hers. Maybe I could get her to recycle. I love it.
