A card to Case

a lovely card to Case made by Therese.
Well I started inspired by the pastel colours.
My whole idea just flew out of the window and the card took over again
and I ended up with 2 cards instead of one.
Forgive the photos the sun was streaming in the window
{ sorry about that for all of you enjoying winter }
and it reflected onto the cards.

I started by sponging some gloss card with Worn Lipstick and
Squeezed Lemonade and putting my cut out flowers over the top.
They were not at all happy with that and wanted to be cut out of the sponged card
So as usual I gave in and then they made me transfer all those little pieces
back into the spaces on the white card cut out.
Oh they were so fiddly and I kept loosing the really tiny pieces.

Then of course the left over flowers insisted I do something with them too.
I bought some really pretty lace at the Dollar shop that they took a fancy to.
I stuck this down with very narrow D/S tape and was that difficult to
get the backing paper off of that.

So I am left with 2 cards, terrible photos and  am going to have the
cheek to enter one in the Flower Challenge.

Lovely to see you thanks for dropping by.

  2. Margaret two beautiful cards. Isn't it terrible when you cant find those fiddly itty bitty pieces an they matter so much. Then when they force you to make another card, I know how you feel, but they have both turned out wonderful. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge Aileen DT

  3. I love it when the card 'takes over', you really just have to go with it and I'm glad you did, they are both gorgeous (great idea to use the flowers for another design)!

  5. Hi Margaret, Was just going through my blog followers spreadsheet to see if I could fill in some missing URL addresses, and spotted your blog link. Reminded me to pop over to see what you're up to. Happy to see you making 2 lovely cards, and enjoyed your adventures with the fussy flowers. Glad you paid attention to their 'wants' as you ended up with 2 very pretty cards. It would be difficult to pick a favorite as each is beautiful, but I do like that bargain lace. HOpe all is going ok and that you are finding time to craft as much as you chose to do. Best wishes & prayers coming your way. TFS & Hugs too.
