Yes you wont find anything else like this on my blog.
It has taken me 3 days to make as we are going through a heat wave
and I am hopeless when it gets above 25 degrees.
Then of course the tennis is on and that is such a time waster.
how they are playing in 40 degrees beats me.
I am afraid of strong colours so it was with a lot of trepidation
that I started with this card.
The colours came from 52 CCCT who wanted us to use 3.
I have added touches of more colour which I think has added a balance.
What do you think?
The stamp is brand new and I have been waiting a long time for it.
Of course it arrived too late for 2013 but just in time for a new beginning in 2014.
I reverted to one of my EK punches for the border.
It is a lace one that I cut through the middle and just popped the scallop
border out from the edge of the card.
I added the ribbon and then realized I had hidden it behind my image so
added a bow for good measure.
There is lots of glitter and liquid pearls for snow.

You should use bold colors more often Margaret as this turned out wonderfully and you got a great balance! I love the bright yellow against the purple. Yes, I agree, that stamp is just too cute. Worth waiting for I'd say :o) Hugs D
ReplyDeleteI love the strong colours in this card. I am a great fan of yellow anyway but love how you have used to make the other colours pop. Thanks for sharing your card with us at CHNC Extra for January.
