I am not a butterfly person myself, I just use the odd one here and there so this was not easy.
Found myself wondering just what I was going to do.
Then I remembered this Colour me paper that I had been given so decided to give it a go.
Not very well I might add.
Also attempted to use my Distress Inks that I am a complete novice at.
Would you believe the centre is Spun Sugar outside Tattered rose and the extreme edge Antique Linen.
I am such a pastel person though have not put enough colour on.
However the photo has taken a lot of the colour out it has more in real life.
There are also pale butterflies underneath the burgandy ones.
My photography leaves a lot to be desired doesn't it?
This is for Less is more-Butterflies.
Thank you for dropping in you are most welcome.
Thank you also for you kind comments.

I love the softness of the butterflies on the background paper. The colors look great! Looks like there's a bit of shimmer to the paper too.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you're interested, but last week, I posted a blog piece on how to take photos of your card. It might be helpful.

Very pretty butterfly paper, and the inking thing is taking me a bit of getting used to as well! Try experimenting on a scrap piece to see how dark it is, I find the distress inks in particular dry a lot paler than when first applied.
ReplyDeleteYour background paper is really lovely. x
