I'm leaving my run a little late

I am leaving my run a little late to post this into Penny Black Allsorts
but better late than never.

I am sure this little Hedgie fits the bill for
All you need is Love

Hedgie was coloured with my copics
C3 C5 C7
Y21
RV21 RV23
YG03 YG63
R00
I also used a new embossing folder called "Scrollworks".

I sponged this to bring the pattern out a little more.

Am entering this in
Penny Black at Allsorts- All you need is Love
Penny Black Saturday Challenge- January Sales or Something new.

I have had laser treatment on both eyes this morning and what a weird
experience that was and so..... fast about 10 seconds all up at most.
Was told that in the morning I should be seeing a lot clearer
but I am seeing fine already.
This was not to correct my eye sight but to clear the haze behind my new lenses.
I had cataract surgery about 3 years ago.
Only used glasses now for driving or very close work.
What joy after wearing glassess for over 40 years!

Thanks for dropping by you are most welcome

Orange and Green

These were not the colours that I was comfortable working with
but this was the result.
I had to be very careful to get the light in the right place when I took this photo as
this silly lady sprayed some smooch on the flowers after I
stuck them on the card.
When I cut out Tilda I cut around her legs so that I could lift the
right one and make her really be stepping out of the frame.
The rhinestones I coloured with YG23 to get them toned in.
tilda is coloured with
ClothesYG 03  YG 23
Hair E57 E35 E33 E31
Skin E00 R20
and I am entering this:
Magnolia-licious-Orange and Green
Just Magnolia-My favourite things
Totally Gorjuss-Cuddly {I think tilda is cuddly}

Than you for dropping in you are most welcome

In a nutshell..

To come through Picasa seems to be the only way I can get my pictures posted how I want them but then they go where they want to and not where I want to place them.  It is all a learning curve.

I have been very brave today and used colours that I would mostly steer clear of.
The background paper I have had for years and is HOTP.
The card is Bazill -Stonewash
The orange is also Bazzill but I don't know the name.
The button was a clear one that I coloured with my copics
as I did the little Hedgie.

Sorry but you all have to look side on now.
I paper pieced the nutshell to give it added depth.
Having followed the Friday Sketchers Sketch I am entering this in,
Simon says stamps- New beginnings

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome
and thanks also for all your lovely comments

Not Happy........................

I am still finding my way around windows 7 and getting the right picture to come up on
the blog.
Now I can't get it to let me write where I want to, I am sure computers have a mind of their own
.

Posted by PicasaTilda has been coloured with my copics
and glittered with stickles.
She is blowing her fairy dust on every one to wish them a Happy New Year
The flower was sprayed with gold glimmer mist and the leaves are just a cut up flower
touched up with G00.
I am entering this in

Plain and Simple

A very Happy and Healthy new year to everyone out there.

During the break I have been busy cleaning out years of crafting and I have never had such a tidy
work area but cannot move in the spare bedroom. lol

I am just easing back into card making slowly and thought I would follow the
Friday Sketchers Sketch today.

The papers are Kaiser and are all scraps from my pile of bits and pieces
The white lace was punched with MS double arches.
I have been experimenting with these border punches and found you can make some lovely lace
with a strip of card 2.5cm wide or 1 inch.

I am entering this in
Friday Sketchers 135

Thank you for dropping in you are most welcome
