CASE-ing Mynn's card

We had a very hot day {well for us 34 degrees} on Saturday
and we had an ANT invasion.
We have Argentine ants no bigger than a pin head
but with razor sharp teeth or so it seems.
Squash them and they get up and run away,
try to drown them and they swim  but not if you use HOT water!!!!!.
Took ages to get them out of the house and back in the garden.
I have gone through about 3 tins of spray.

Anyway on to business.
A new year and Mynn has come up with a new challenge for us all.
CASE -ing Christmas.
Here is the card she would like you to CAS

I followed the sketch and the gold.

This card was made completely with stash that is years old
and there is lots more where that came from.
I didn't have a bird but at least I have the tree.

Am entering this in:

CASE-ing Christmas #1- CAS Mynn's card
CHNC Christmas - Anything goes
Suzi Bees Blooming challenge - Anything goes clean and simple
Christmas cards all year round - Anything goes

Thanks for dropping in and for all the lovely comments you leave.

  1. Beautiful card, love it.
Oh! Dear! Ants, persky little blighters and they do bite with a vengeance.
When we lived in Turkey they were a right pain at times.
Glad you have managed to win the battle

  4. Beautiful card Margaret. I love it. Ants, oh I hate them, I can deal with lots of things but not ants. Can you not send us some of your heat, we go from freezing cold to mild but damp. Some nice warm heat would be lovely. Hazel x
