Look what we woke to this morning

Yes Snow on the mountain.

I took this through the kitchen window the sun was shining but it was very cold.
At least the days are beginning to lengthen though.

Well onto my card. I have followed the sketch on 52CCCT which was a very simple one
but very effective.

I have embossed the background with a baubles die but the camera does not pick it up very well.
and then doodled around the edge with a red pen.
As you can see though I am not a very good doodler.
Tried one or two images but Snowy was best and have covered
the fur with flower soft which I mixed with glitter.
did I have trouble with this as my glue had gone gluggy and would not spread
then the container had gone hard and cracked so there was glue everywhere.
just finished it off with the rhinestones.

Am entering this in:

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

  2. WOW awesome creation Margaret! Your coloring is fantastic with the touches of blue on the snowman ... really gives him that COLD feeling! OMG ... look at that snow! I'm in Ohio, USA and it's in the 80s(F.) here ... makes it a little difficult to think Christmas, LOL! But, you had the perfect setting ... thanks for sharing the beautiful view!!

  6. A lovely Christmas card. I love your cute snowman. Lovely colouring and great design.
We have had some very icy winds the past few days. Now I know where they originated. The snow looks pretty but it must be cold in Tassie
